Radio Mirchi Radio ka baadshah
Description :
The event would need teams consisting of 2 participants
each ,one would be representing the caller and the other would be the RJ.
The choice is left to the team members of how they divide the roles. The
crux of the event lies in simulating a real Radio Jockey and caller
conversation.
Phase 1(prelims cum workshop)
- Teams will be provided with themes 10 minutes prior to their
performance. Themes will be randomly selected from the set of themes prepared by the RJ and our team members.
- Time constraints : The team will be provided 6 minutes to complete their
act. Grace time is around 10 seconds , if the team exceeds the grace time
period also then negative points will be awarded.
- Criteria for comparison : The teams will be rated on
- How good has the role division been?
- Body language and expressions
- Effective use of language: The teams using a good combination of more
than 1 language out of the three local languages ( English, Hindi, Telugu)
will be awarded bonus points.
- How well have they absorbed the theme ?
- How well have they complimented each other?
- How good has the role division been?
- Any team using excessive typos(incomprehendable language) or using the
lingo in an obscene manner will be penalized.
- The radio jockey will be judging the event throughout.
Later a minimum of 10 teams will be selected and in the next 5 days daily 2 teams will go on air in along with RadioMirchi.Then depending on how the listeners have liked the conversations the voting process through SMS starts.The team with the highests votes is declared the winner.
